What they say about my books ❤️

“We got 2 pocketbooks from our friend as gifts for my husband’s PhD graduation. They’re just perfect for the occasion! Very neat and elegant. The soft touch is just authentic and better than products that you get from mass produce. Each book is unique and has its own character! We LOVE them!”

Nira Namnit – Graphic Designer

“Every detail reflects craftsmanship and care. The fact that it’s hand-made with love really shows. I love how it feels—natural, simple, and stylish. It’s a reminder that sustainable, thoughtful design can still be practical and beautiful. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone who appreciates mindful, well-crafted stationery!”

Gift Homsaen - paper crafter
Hi! I’m Gift Homsaen, founder of Down to Earth Paper

I come from Thailand and have settled in Sammamish, WA, since 2020.

I was a web developer turned paper crafter. I created Down to Earth Paper in 2025 when I realized I didn’t enjoy tackling clients’ website issues that much. It’s only fun when doing my projects. This work also drained me due to endless hours spent in front of a screen.

Papercrafting rebalances my life and teaches me mindfulness. And since my passion is sustainability, it’s exciting to figure out how to make low-waste crafts and run a low-carbon business.

And I know I’m not alone! That’s why I’m here sharing my creations with you.
