175 handmade books within two months?

I’m on a mission to make 175 handmade books for two events within two months.

It’s the biggest handmade book challenge I’ve taken on since starting my business.

All of them will be gifts. I don’t make money off of them.

I gasped the first time I heard the number and took a few days to do a rough calculation before saying yes.

This is going to be incredibly challenging. What does it look like to create almost two hundred handmade books in two months—all by myself?

And this isn’t just bookmaking—it’s also papermaking.

At the same time…

These opportunities could open so many more doors for me because I’ll be getting my products in front of a lot of people. Since my goal for the first year of running the business is to become known, saying yes feels like the most logical step.

I’m not sure if those event attendees are my target customers or not—but this is how I’ll find out.

First, I’ll have to become a paper-and-book-making machine and hustle. Hard. Temporarily. And that’s okay.
